ABK SKIN is a boutique, one-on-one skincare studio in the heart of Charlotte, nc where every service is delivered by me — your dedicated solo aesthetician, Katrina. I created ABK SKIN to offer a more personal, intentional, and results-driven experience where my clients aren't looked at as a dollar sign or number in the door. Here, you receive my full attention from the moment you arrive, including detailed skin analysis and customized treatment plans designed around your unique goals.

 

I specialize in custom medical grade facials and skincare to improve acne, scaring, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, damaged skin barriers, and long-term skin health. I focus on preventative skincare science. My goal with my clients is to have them with me a lifetime and ensure they don't need aggressive resurfacing treatments in their future. Some of my most loved services are microneedling with mesotherapy, custom hydrafacials with dermaplaning, and body treatments such as body hydrafacials & full body lymphatic drainage.

​I'm thrilled to share my passion for skin and aesthetics with you! I myself struggled with cystic acne during my early adulthood which destroyed my confidence. My journey began at the age of 19 during my first aesthetic appointment at a plastic surgeons office, where I truly discovered the transformative power of aesthetics. Growing up with physical insecurities that prevented me from pursuing some of my passions and talents I knew I wanted to help people overcome theirs someday. 

 

After seeing the negative impact my acne had on my mental health, my passion to help others grew that much deeper.​ Fueled by a desire to make a genuine impact, I set out to create a welcoming space where clients could feel cared for and empowered.
